These acrs to the ceiling are 43 inches long.  At this point I was running at 1.2 kva.  If you look closely in the picture below you can see where two spark from different trails intersect and go up to hit the ceiling.    I am talking about the left ceiling arc.  I wonder which one came first.

    Here again running at 1.2 kva.   I am getting some nice 40 inch arcs to a ungrounded toriod.  Notice how the arcs like to follow the same path.   To give you a idea of scale the nail on the left toriod is 3.5" long.   Yes I painted my toriod black.  Makes it look meaner. :) - idea stollen from Mike Hammer -

    Here are my monster streamers.  Reaching out to 53" still running on 1.2 kva.  I was very happy to get this kind of performance.  Setup for these pictures as follows.  10 kva 29 kv home made transformer limited to 1.2 kva.  Running at 15 kv.  Using a quench gap made out of 30 gaps. taped at 16.   Primary capacitor salvaged 10 nf.
